 GOOGLE iCal process:
1. Copy the iCalendar URL from Call Scheduler screen - (right click and "Copy Shortcut" in Internet Explorer).
** Note: Do Not simply click the link!
If you are NOT using Explorer, then carefully follow the
sub-instructions a-c below
- Carefully highlight the Call Scheduler iCal link. It will look something like this:

- Copy and paste Call Scheduler iCal link into word
- Make the resulting paste all one line and copy it again from Word, then continue as below
2. Log into your Google iCalendar.
3. Paste the one-line url into this interface area:
 In Google iCalendar > Other calendars > Add > Add by URL
4. Then click "Add Calendar".
Google should show "importing calendar" immediately above your calendar view, but may take a while for the actual assignments to show up. Some clients have reported 12-24hrs for the initial import to take place.

OUTLOOK 2007+ iCal process:
1. Copy the iCalendar URL from Call Scheduler screen - (right click and "Copy Shortcut" in Internet Explorer).

- Carefully highlight the Call Scheduler iCal link. It will look something like this:

- Make the resulting paste all one line and copy it again from Word, then continue as below
2. In Outlook, within the Tools menu, click Account Settings.
3. Select the “Internet Calendars” tab, click “new…” It’s the first icon on the left.
4. Paste the iCalendar URL you copied in step 1 into the “New Internet Calendar Subscription” popup.
5. Click Add.
6. When the Folder Name box appears, type the name of the calendar as you want it to appear in Outlook 2007, and then click OK.
The resulting calendar icon will have a double-headed arrow on it if you have correctly subscribed to the Call Scheduler calendar.

Additional Notes:
1). The iCal URL must display all the information in one line when it is pasted into Outlook/Google. You may need to use Notepad or something similar to get it into one line before pasting. If using Internet Explorer, you can simply right click > copy shortcut.
2.) Several people have reported that when they had Outlook 2007 already open, then clicked on the Call-Scheduler generated iCal link, it automatically populated the correct area in Outlook 2007. However, this is a Snapshot link, NOT a Subscription link!
3). If the Job scheduled is an overnight assignment, it will appear on both dates affected since it is before midnight on one date and after midnight on the other.

If you tried NotePad without success, you may want to try copy/paste from Word. The iCal link must be all one line; watch for the underscore ( _ ) vs an apparent blank space. Hand typing what you think you see in the link has not been very successful; copy/paste is the way to go.
