To Delete a Provider from the Provider list, click on the appropriate checkbox to the far left in the Providers row in the list, then click on Delete at the top of the window to finalize the deletion or Cancel if you change your mind. For something temporary (even several months) like a medical leave or sabbatical, use the Days Off scheduler described elsewhere.

Alert: If you Delete a Provider from the Provider list, he/she will be deleted from the system... including any history he/she had. If the person has left the practice, or is no longer taking call, and you need to preserve history, simply go to the Provider properties and uncheck jobs as needed. If no jobs are checked, he/she will be considered unavailable for any work.
