Entering a date for Holiday History actually schedules the Provider for that Holiday for that year. If you go back in the schedule for that year at a later time, you will find that the Provider appears as scheduled for that assignment. If you enter the current year's Holiday assignment from a previously agreed upon schedule before you schedule the rest of this year, you will see that the provider is actually scheduled for the Holiday if you look through the scheduling months. Also, if you remove a date of a Provider's Holiday History on this screen, you will be un-scheduling him or her from this date in all schedules and reports. Even though you may "start over" with respect to accounting for Holiday History, we suggest that you enter as many dates as possible even if you have to dig out your old calendars and schedules. The more dates you enter, the sooner Call Scheduler can standardize and equalize your scheduling assignments. Directions! Select the Job for which you wish to enter Holiday History dates in the Switch Jobs box at the top of the Holiday History window. Hit Switch. Then, for each Holiday, enter the last year that this Provider had each Holiday either on call or as a work assignment. If the Provider has never had the Holiday, leave the History box blank. When you are finished, click Save at the bottom, then do the same for each Job that you care to. Return to the previous screen by clicking on Back at the bottom, or proceed to the next screen by clicking Next.
