You can view a list of available and unavailable providers via either Manual Month View, or the Manual Year View. Providers are listed as Available only if the job is in the Provider's List to do, if he/she is not already doing a Job that day, and if he/she is not on a DayOff type (vacation, meeting, day off call, etc.)

Assign a Provider to a calendar day by clicking on the date number in the upper left corner of the appropriate date box. 

A new window will pop open in front of the calendar. The jobs and corresponding providers are listed with call-jobs grouped at the top, work-jobs grouped at the bottom. All Providers in the system are listed in the dropdown menu in the same order they are listed in the Provider List.

You can use this window to schedule two ways:

  1. To schedule a group of jobs on a single day, choose the correct Provider for each job and click "schedule" to finalize your choices. You can schedule any Provider for any Job or

  2. To see the list of available and unavailable providers while scheduling, select the job name to be scheduled (Main Call-Weekday for example). A list of Available Providers will appear to choose from, (you can over-ride the suggested folks, and choose from the Unavailable Providers if you wish). Click on the correct provider to finalize your choice.

After you make your selection, the window closes, the calendar refreshes. Repeat the process until all your scheduling is done. Remove any of the pop-up screens by clicking on the red "x" in the upper right corner.

To remove a Provider from a scheduled assignment, click on their initials (screen name). 

To schedule a different Provider for a previously scheduled date, just repeat the scheduling procedure in item #1 above, but choose the newer Provider for the appropriate Job, then click on “Schedule”. You do not have to Unschedule the original Provider first.
