Provider Communication, Provider Requests:

Providers can either send a schedule change, day off request or comment to the scheduler, or review the status of your previous requests. .
Each Provider has a unique ID and password to use Call Scheduler. They can view reports, assignment schedules and days off. They can also create and submit requests for schedule swaps or days off. They can review all of their Pending, Approved and Declined Requests. As soon as the Scheduler approves their swap or vacation requests, the appropriate changes are made to the schedule and the requesting Provider is notified of the approval if his/her email is in the Provider Properties. Also, the correct new schedule is immediately available online. The Provider Request Area is accessed by clicking on the last icon on the right site of the navigation bar (it looks like a person's head). A Provider can submit a vacation or day off request for a single day or a range of days. He/she can request to work a specific shift or request to swap a shift with another employee. Please consult your manager on the specifics of your scheduling rules. Alert! The Provider's current email address must be entered in his/her provider profile for email notification to work. If you choose not to use email, the Provider can still find out the status of his/her request by logging into Call Scheduler and checking the Provder Request area.
Pending Requests are displayed first in the first screen as the default. Make an alternative selection in the View box at the upper right to see the list of either Approved or Declined requests. Click on "Submit Request" in the upper right corner of the window to create and send a scheduling Request of any type in the next screen called Build Request. Be sure to use the Complete Whiteboard to see the current calender when making requests.
